Ukrainian military forces worked out defense of coast of Azov sea

Near the coast of the Sea of ​​Azov, in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation, the Ukrainian military conducted a tailwind exercise with live fire to repel the advanced forces of the enemy’s landing force. The press center of the JFO headquarters reports.

The main objective of the tactical group “Mariupol” was to prevent the landing of the main and reflection of the advanced forces of the enemy, throwing the enemy back into the sea and destroying him during the retreat.

In total, about 400 personnel were involved, five ships and boats, 25 units of various artillery systems, including MLRS, 13 armored fighting vehicles (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and various types of armored vehicles), two army Mi-8 helicopters and one Mi-14 naval aviation, as well as two Su-25 attack aircraft and two MiG-29 fighters.

It is noted that during the fulfillment of the tasks, the airborne defense forces showed a high level of training and training, accuracy of firing and coordination of actions of units of various branches of the armed forces and forces and various security departments, which jointly operate as part of the Mariupol tactical group.
