Fight in Donbass: EU calls on Russia to influence militants
The European Union expects Russia to act in the direction of de-escalation of the situation in the Donbass.

“We expect that Russia will fully and immediately use its influence on the armed groups it supports,” he said.
Brussels emphasized that the use of heavy weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements controlled by Russian militants “is of extreme concern.”
“These offensive attempts by the armed groups supported by Russia are completely contrary to the agreed ceasefire, which is still not fully respected,” the EU representative added.
Recall that on the morning of February 18, the invaders attacked the positions of the units of the United Forces near the settlements of Novotoshkovskoye, Orekhovo, Krymskoye and Khutor Volny.
As a result of hostilities, one Ukrainian military was killed, three were injured , two others were shell-shocked.
