Russia is a “serious threat” to the European Union, Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said during the 56th Munich Security Conference, RFM24 reports.
“We believe that Russia is a very serious threat, that it is a serious player acting to the detriment of the interests of the West, at the expense of democracy. Therefore, Europe and the European Union should unite here with other countries, first of all with the United States,” Czaputowicz said.
In addition, the Polish minister responded to the words of French President Emmanuel Macron, who noted that Europe should seek dialogue with Russia, and sanctions against it did not bring anything positive. According to Czaputowicz, such statements are “premature” and Poland does not share such a position. Sanctions should be maintained “until Russia returns to the path of respect for international law,” he said.

He is right of course.
It is coming up to 10 years since the Smolensk air disaster. Immediately after that happened, a far left journalist acquaintance of mine with many contacts in the swamp told me it was a kremlin op. Ten years on, I don’t think there is any doubt whatsoever. Another putler crime gone unpunished.

It was an opportunity not to be missed. By placing all those government officials on one plane, they were practically begging for the plane to be shot down, or blown up.

Wouldn’t it be a giant step forward if a new military alliance was formed : Britain, America, Canada, Poland, Pribaltika, Georgia and Ukraine as the core membership. Only nations willing to defend against Russian aggression could join.

You could probably add Australia and Japan to that list.

Yes and NZ and S. Korea. In fact any nation willing to fulfill the original brief of Nato, which as it is today is literally no longer fit for purpose.
