Trump admits sending Guiliani to Ukraine, contradicts himself once again

During his impeachment inquiry, the U.S. President denied directing his personal lawyer to “do anything” in Ukraine18:34, 14 February 2020

U.S. President Donald Trump openly admitted to sending his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine in order to find damaging information about his political opponents days after his impeachment inquiry officially ended, CNN reports.

During a podcast interview with journalist Geraldo Rivera, Trump was asked if he was sorry that the had sent Giuliani to Ukraine. The U.S. President’s response was quite interesting: “No, not at all“.

It is worth noting that Trump denied sending Giuliani to Ukraine during his impeachment inquiry. When he was asked in November if he directed Giuliani to “do anything” in Ukraine, Trump said: “No, I did not direct him,” but praised Giuliani as a “great corruption fighter”.

As we reported earlier, Donald Trump was acquitted by the Senate. He was charged with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

The impeachment charges focused on Trump’s pressure put on Ukraine in order to begin a corruption investigation into Joe Biden, a Democratic White House candidate, and his son Hunter Biden.

  • Why wasn’t Biden investigated from the beginning? This should be the core question to Ukraine. In fear of being dragged into the US elections Ukraine’s (eversince corrupt justice) spared Biden’s ass. What Trump did is no less wrong than what Ukraine did (not)…

    • Just imagine if the roles were reversed and Trump was in charge of Ukrainian policy and sent one of his sons to sit on a gas board with no experience, no knowledge of the gas business and no understanding of Ukraine? Then picked up millions of dollars in “salary” for just a couple of meetings.
All hell would break loose in the media. Instead, they covered it up for years under the Obama administration and even now the media say it’s all conspiracy theories. Ukrainians are used to seeing corruption but it’s damn embarrassing for my country claiming to help Ukraine fight corruption and then engage in it.

      • Burisma is Ukrainian in name only. Registered in Cyprus (first choice of putinoid scum) and owned by a filthy putlerite crony of Yanuk who lives in Monaco (where else?): Mykola Zlochevsky.
So the Bidens actually were/are kremlin assets.
        From wiki :
‘According to Ukrainian authorities Zlochevsky is suspected of “theft of government funds on an especially large scale”. Authorities said the criminal investigation on suspicion of embezzlement is currently on hold because Zlochevsky whereabouts cannot presently be determined. As of 2019, Zlochevsky is reported to live in Monaco.’
