No healthcare for wounded DPR-terrorists.

The crippled “DNR” militants are deprived of all support from the occupation authorities and hate leadership of the pseudo-republic. This was written by Russian mercenary Alexander Zhuchkovsky on his Telegram Channel.

He told that there were militants in the hospitals who have lost limbs and need serious surgery and medication. However, the funds for this have to be collected through donations, the money from which is sorely lacking. Zhuchkovsky noted that the relatives of the wounded militants were forced to sell their property for treatment. “I will tell the leaders of the republic: they hate you.

Thousands of people – the wounded, the disabled, their family members – hate you for indifference. Nobody will ever believe that the “republic” has no money to treat the front-line soldiers, even for major operations to the wounded. You just do not give a damn”, – Zhuchkovsky was indignant.

I have to say I am not surprised in the least. I am willing to bet that their wonderful supporter, vatnikistan is of absolutely no help whatsoever either.

I do feel though that a wider view has to be taken in view of the future, when the territory is returned to Ukraine.

Do these people get rehabilitation, an amnesty and treatment for the injuries, with all the subsequent care given to other Veterans, after all, we have done this with Germany and Japan.
We should strive to be magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat. The thinking is that although defeated, the Enemy, being treated fairly, can resume normal life quickly and therefor should become settled and harbour no grudges or wish to resume the conflict.

Naturally it would be easy to confiscate all their Land and Property, exiling them to vatnikistan, never to return home, but who knows what future actions could be taken through the Courts.
Former States of the USSR might at sometime in the future sue for the return of assets stolen post revolution and for restitution, this could conceivably happen to Ukraine.
