President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed the possibility of transporting Caspian gas through a gas pipeline via the specific connectors to Ukraine. Zelensky reported it during the briefing, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.
“The issue of diversification of energy sources is important for us. We have discussed the possibility of transporting Caspian gas through a gas pipeline via the specific connectors to Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
At the eighth meeting of the High Level Strategic Council, the parties discussed the importance of diversification of energy sources, including gas supplies through the TANAP gas pipeline and the supply of liquefied gas.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine and Turkey have signed an agreement on military-financial cooperation. The signing took place during the Ukrainian-Turkish Business Forum, which was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
