Bundestag MP Keuter: Medvedchuk’s initiative to help not only Ukraine but Europe

On January 23, Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform – For Life Party, MP Viktor Medvedchuk in Paris held a presentation of the Normandy Format Parliamentary Dimension

The initiative of Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform – For Life Party, MP Viktor Medvedchuk will help not only Ukraine but the whole Europe as Bundestag lawmaker Stefan Keuter stated.

“It will help not only the Ukrainians; it will help the whole Europe and even Russians. War is everywhere; economy, people suffer. We should solve the problems; we should stop the conflict and lift the sanctions against Russia. Unfortunately, there are a lot of forces interested in the fomenting of this conflict that is why I find such initiative very important, good. It is one more step toward peace in Ukraine and the liquidation of the seat of war in Europe,” he said.

“There are forces interested in the continuation of this conflict to earn money on it because they support…separatists also have great economic interest to keep the sanctions against Russia. I, as the representative of the German people, German lawmaker and generally…it harms not only Russia; it also harms Germany, German enterprises and destroy working places. And the sanctions should be stopped. And the justification for the sanctions, in fact, is only the conflict in the eastern Ukraine. It will be very long, difficult process. The conflict is not easy to solve. But it is the policy of small steps. A lot of small steps will lead to the result. It is a very important meeting in Strasbourg. I do not think, however, that the conflict will be solved soon only due to it,” Keuter added.

“I cannot give recommendations to the Ukrainian state. But if you ask me, there are many possibilities to reach the decision. First of all, it is necessary to communicate with each other, for Russia to talk with Ukraine (it is very important), communicate with international partners first of all and representative of my faction in the parliament said very clearly that it is necessary to discuss the amnesty because nobody lays down arms voluntary. The territorial decision should found because if somebody does not achieve the result, he/she will not refuse from the combat actions and people who went from the fact that it is necessary to promise them proper economic success, well-being. If you have such prospect then it is really possible to stop the conflict, possible to coexist in peace. How it looks in details? I cannot give some advice but I find these goals very important and it is necessary to strive for them,” the lawmaker concluded.

Load of BS. Any initiative by Medvedchuk will only benefit one country, and it’s not Ukraine. You want sanctions lifting, tell your Russian friends in the Kremlin to remove their trash out of Ukraine. Now GFY kraut.

No, Putinazi, it is really very simple; Putin invaded…Putin must go home. That’s what the sanctions are for. If he was YOUR neighbor you would see the “conflict” much clearer.
