Invaders fire grenade launchers at Ukrainian positions near Novoluhanske
Russian-occupation troops have opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces near Novoluhanske in Donetsk region.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Hutsuliak said this on Saturday, January 4, the press service of the ministry reported.
“Today, as of 12:00, one enemy shelling was recorded at about 04:00 near the village of Novoluhanske [53km north-east of Donetsk]. The invaders fired mounted automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns from Dolomitne [53km north-east of Donetsk]. According to available information, no casualties among our soldiers have been reported,” he said.
As Ukrinform reported, on January 3, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire three times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas. The enemy launched an attack in the zone of action of tactical force “East” and two more attacks in the zone of action of tactical force “North”. No casualties among members of the Joint Forces were reported on January 3.
