Putin once again invites Trump to visit Russia

President of the Russian Federation stated this in his Christmas and New Year message

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin once again invited U.S. President Donald Trump to visit Moscow in 2020, according to a Kremlin readout of Putin’s holiday greetings to foreign leaders posted Monday. It was reported by CNN.

“In a Christmas and New Year greeting message to President of the United States of America Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin noted that Russia and the US were historically responsible for ensuring global security and stability, and that Moscow speaks in favour of normalising bilateral relations and establishing an equal dialogue based on the mutual respect of interests,” the statement said.

It also mentioned information that Putin reaffirmed his invitation to Donald Trump to visit Moscow to take part in the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

As we reported earlier, United States President Donald Trump does not mind coming to Russia for the Victory Day Parade, according to Reuters.

Trump said to the reporters at the White House that he was considering attending Victory Day Parade, which is held on May 9, at Red Square in Moscow.

Is this the convoluted way of Putin saying, “Let’s have a reset Donald, and the US can consider themselves to be equal to Muscovy”
