Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that there will be no betrayal at a meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Four countries and called on Ukrainians to trust him.
He stated this in a video recorded during a workout on Monday, December 2.
“There has been and there can be no betrayal. But I will be more confident at this meeting if I know that my country trusts me, that behind my back is our whole independent people,” Zelensky said, addressing Ukrainians.
He urged everyone not to believe politicians or political parties talking about a possible “betrayal” of Ukraine’s interests at the upcoming Normandy Four summit.
“Don’t believe anyone. Nobody can go anywhere with war. Nobody wants to go and lose hundreds of thousands more. We can’t allow that. Therefore, only diplomacy. And if there is no such dialogue, what will they say: ‘What else could Zelensky discuss with Putin?’ You know, that is possible without this dialogue, but it’s like running on this treadmill, meaning you’re doing something, you’re losing calories, but you remain in the same place. We don’t want to remain in the same place. We want to end it all, and we’ll again be a great country of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
The Normandy Four summit is to be held in Paris on December 9.

He would be easier to trust if he had fewer Moskali in his cabinet, ruSSo-oligarchs returning and Kolomoisky’s mole in Bohdan running the government…
And I don’t believe he ever took back what he said about Ukraine being like a prostitute that anyone could have, in Muskovy.
The Netherlands Public Prosecution Service (PPS) has said that the Russian Federation deliberately allowed Volodymyr Tsemakh, a suspect in the MH17 downing probe, to leave the country so as not to extradite him to the Netherlands. “The Public Prosecution Service has concluded that Russia willingly allowed Mr Tsemakh to leave the Russian Federation and refused to execute the Dutch request. While under the European Convention on Extradition, it was obliged to do so,” as reported by the Ukrainian media outlet European Pravda with reference to the Dutch prosecutors’ conclusion regarding extradition requests sent to the Russian side.

Zelensky is either very naive or a liar. Which is it?
Its hard to tell and I think that’s one of his problems with the media. Speeches and answering questions are quite different, but the policy should be the same. Thus far we aren’t getting that from Zelensky.
