Exchange of 250 people for 100 is being discussed.

Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on a large-scale “all-for-all” exchange are in the final stages. RBC reported it, citing the sources.

“The important issue now is the exchange of all established persons for all established persons between Kyiv and Donbas. The lists have already been agreed and approved,” the source said.

According to him, Ukraine is ready to hand over “about 250 people in exchange for 100”.

“Active work is underway, the stage of legal cleaning is completed – the persons, who are being prepared for the exchange, have different procedural status,” he added.

According to the newspaper, this information was also confirmed by an interlocutor close to the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

As we reported earlier, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko believes that the exchange of prisoners will not be equivalent, as it was before. He told this to reporters in Kyiv, Interfax informed.

“The quantity, I think, will not be accurate this time. The format of the exchange will be not one-for-one, and the exchange process itself will be even more sensitive,” Prystaiko noted.

According to him, the lists of people whom they plan to exchange with Moscow remain closed so as not to jeopardize the process itself.

  • Who in Ukraine thinks there are only 100 Ukrainian hostages held illegally by Muskovy? Last count I remember was more than 300. The filth must have tortured the other 200 to death.

    • As usual with 112, they missed off the important bit. This is the part they forgot, this is from the Moscow Times.

“Still, the source close to Volodymyr Zelenskiy and an unnamed negotiator cautioned that the exchange depends on the outcome of the four-way summit.”

In other words, if the mafia state don’t get what they want, no Ukrainian hostages will be returned.
