Ukraine’s JFO Headquarters reports massive losses among Donbas militants in Oct

“In October 2019, casualties of illegal armed formations of the so-called ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’ [the self-proclaimed ‘Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics’] and Russian-backed militants amounted to 96 people, including 33 fatalities,” the JFO’s press service said on Nov 1, referring to its intelligence reports.

It was noted that Joint Forces adequately responded to enemy shelling on the contact line, opening fire whenever a threat emerged to the life and health of Ukrainian troops, seizure of territories, as well as in cases where enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups attempted to penetrate Ukraine defenses. As UNIAN reported earlier, on Thursday, Oct 31, Russian occupation forces in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas 15 times violated the ceasefire, the Joint Forces Operation HQ said.
