Sajdik impressed by pace of repair work at bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska

The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group, Ambassador Martin Sajdik, has said he is impressed by the pace of the repair of a bridge over the Siverskyi Donets River in Stanytsia Luhanska, according to a press statement posted on the OSCE website after the TGG meeting in Minsk on October 15.

“At the end of last week I spent two days in the east of Ukraine. In particular, I got a first-hand update on the situation in Stanytsia Luhanska. I was impressed by the pace of the repair works at the bridge across the Siverskyi Donets river,” Sajdik said.

The diplomat recalled that a temporary bypass bridge was opened there on October 4. “I personally walked across it and was able to observe the restoration of the broken span of the main bridge,” he said.

“I witnessed the great achievement that facilitates crossing the line of contact for civilians. Let me remind you that the launch of the repair works was preceded by three years of negotiations. I regret to say that I cannot give a positive assessment of adherence to the ceasefire, as the number of violations has recently risen sharply,” Sajdik said.

  1. As usual with this Russian lover, he’s very shy when it comes to details. No mention of which side is building the bridge, or which side had two more soldiers killed yesterday.

    • Yes. He is a stinking piece of putinoid scum. From UATV:
β€œThe special representative of the OSCE chairman in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group for the Settlement in the Donbass, Martin Sajdik at the international forum in Salzburg not only refused to express his position on the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, but at the same time allowed himself subjective historical excursions that justify the attempt of illegal annexation by Russia of Crimea”.

      • No wonder Russia are keen on this Steinmeier formula, that gets implemented if the OSCE declare any elections valid.

        • Yep, and all the Putin grovelers can give up on Ukraine by saying, “The people have spoken”. One of Moskovia’s favorite phrases. One thing never mentioned is what would happen IF a normal Ukrainian won the election and rarely mentioned is whether or not the displaced can vote. Not to mention a big chunk of the displaced were shoved into Moskovia and probably have their passports by now.
