The disengagement of forces is supposed to be a mirror-like action, Chief of General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces insists
Due to the disengagement of forces in Donbas conflict area, fighters of Ukrainian Armed Forces will return to positions that they held three years ago, in 2016. Ruslan Khomchak, the Chief of General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said so as quoted by the government web portal.
“New positions of the Ukrainian military will be where they were in 2016, when the disengagement of forces in the said area first took place. The units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces will keep controlling the situation”, he said.
The disengagement of forces is supposed to be a mirror-like action, Khomchak insisted.
Currently, the Ukrainian side takes steps to disengage troops in Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote and Petrivske. The process will be taking place gradually, in two stages: the actual disengagement of troops on both sides, and the dismantling of engineering constructions, as well as further mine clearing. Donetsk regional state administration reported that on Tuesday.
As of October 8, phase one is complete in Stanytsia Luhanska. The dismantling of fortifications is yet underway.
The disengagement is conducted within the range of 1 km from the division line; it is supposed to be carried out by both warring sides.
The said three sections are 3 km in total length, with 410 kilometers of the common division line.
The Armed Forces are technically ready for disengagement; the new positions are being prepared for several weeks now.

Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Kaliningrad.
I’m busy installing Ubuntu 19.10, this time from scratch. Hopefully I’ll be back later on 🙂
Just going to look at a video about the beta release.
I must look at it tomorrow, I can’t access the bios 🙂 I did an upgrade from 19.04 yesterday and it looks very fast compared to older versions. But I want to make a clean install since I’ve only made upgrades from 16.04 until now.
To access your bios just restart your machine and hold down F2 or F9 during startup. 😇
I upgraded from XP to Windows Home Server SP2. Is very fast compared to XP. Vista and above are crap. I only use Win10 in dual boot for some devices like my printer. 😉
I know how to do it, but my keyboard isn’t recognized before the machine has booted. I need to find a keyboard that is wired 🙂
You will need a serial keyboard. USB keyboards sometimes stay deaf until you are in Windows/Linux…
Yes, that’s the problem. I found an old keyboard in the basement that I will try when home again 😊
By the way, how is Alina doing with driving lessons and license?
She has enough with her language lessons now, then I’m a happy driver 😀
