His suffering whilst being held by the putinazis was terrible, even though technically he was not tortured. Deprived of a mattress, he was forced to sleep on an iron bed in an unheated cell in winter. His kidneys became inflamed and the putinazis refused him a doctor. If any of you have ever experienced the agony of inflamed kidneys, you will know what he went through.
