US Department of Energy will send experts to Ukraine to help Kyiv avoid possible disruptions of energy supplies from Russia, reports US Embassy in Ukraine on its Facebook page. American experts will help to create an action plan for the coming winter season. They will think of ways to respond to energy shortages.

Negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the European Union on extending the Russian gas transit through Ukraine will take place on September 19. Ukraine’s current contract with Russian company Gazprom for gas transit was signed in 2009 for ten years. Starting from 2020 Russian company intends to reduce gas transit through Ukraine as much as possible.

Great!!! 😀
It’s not as good a strategy as sending Patriot missiles but cutting off ruSSki pressure, influence and intimidation is good. At least now the Moskali can’t threaten Ukraine by trying to freeze them into submission.

If you’re really in trouble, there is a magic word in the Ukrainian language that might help you avoid death.
Just say, KO-HI-YO
It means, soulmate
Good luck!

Off topic. The Trump administration has released the hold on 250 million in military aid to Ukraine.
We support Ukraine. Period. End of discussion,” said Sen. John Kennedy, R-La.
“It would have been a mistake to hold back our assistance to the brave people of Ukraine. Doing so would have undermined our partners in Ukraine and Eastern Europe and further emboldened the Kremlin,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. R-Ky.
Separately, the State Department is giving $141 million in aid for the country’s military.
That’s great news, Stan!
Yeah, it’s great to see that the people of Ukraine have many friends in the United States………..
regardless of who is in the white house.
Copy that!
Looks like Congress won that wrestling match. Question is, what possibly could be next? Survey says…………….
Congratulations Mike and Suzanna. Please both stay away from the booze. Not good for the baby development. Also important to keep stress down.
