Putin Says Talks With Ukraine on Prisoner Swap Nearly Complete

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that talks with Ukraine on an exchange of prisoners were being finalized and that the swap could involve a large number of people.

Speaking at an economic forum in Russia’s Far East, Putin said a major prisoner swap between Moscow and Kiev could mark a step towards normalizing relations between the two countries.

  1. How wrong you are Putin. First is the question of removing your trash from Donbas and Crimea. Secondly is billions of dollars in reparations in rebuilding Donbas. Thirdly is the question of war crimes committed against Ukraine by Russia.

When Putin comes out with a statement explaining the reason, you know evil is not far away.

“For humanitarian reasons, we are finalizing the talks with officials and other parties. I think a relevant announcement will be made soon enough,”

  2. “I think that in the historical perspective, this will inevitably happen. I mean full normalization in relations because we are two parts of the same people. I said this many times,” Putin said.
