Ukraine can refuse nuclear fuel supplies from Russia – energy minister
21.08.2019 17:18Ukraine in the event of a cessation of nuclear fuel supplies from Russia will be able to ensure the functioning of nuclear energy.
Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk announced this at a briefing on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“If Russia completely blocks the supply of nuclear fuel to us, we are self-sufficient to operate without these supplies. If I had said that two years ago, everyone would have laughed at me. Today it’s a fact,” the minister said.
He suggested that Ukraine, together with Westinghouse Company, would be able to complete the construction of its own nuclear fuel plant.

Better to obtain from nonaggressor suppliers anyway. Another cut to income of Pootlerstan would help tie their hands.
