State Duma MP accuses U.S. of bad weather in Russia
State Duma MP Alexei Zhuravlev says that the cause of the stormy weather in Russia is the work of the ‘Washington Regional Committee’
Russian State Duma MP Alexei Zhuravlev considers the technology of the ‘Washington Regional Committee’ to be the cause of the bad weather in Russia. He said this on the air of “60 minutes” show on the ‘Russia’ TV channel, Lenta.ru reports.
“There should be no such summer; we all understand that it cannot be like that. We suffer from fires and heavy rains in Moscow. Well, the Washington regional committee is working,” Zhuravlev said.
He explained his assumption by the fact that Western countries use climate weapons due to the lack of hypersonic missiles to confront Russia.
However, Roman Wilfand, the supervisor of the Hydrometeorological Center found a different explanation for the abnormal weather in the Russian Federation. In particular, the cooling in the country takes place due to a stationary cyclone over the Urals. Cold winds blowing from the Laptev Sea, from the Kara Sea, and from New Land affect the decrease in air temperature.
On the evening of August 8, federal channels broadcasting was absent for several minutes. Forecasters reported the likelihood of natural disasters and damage due to the stormy weather.
